Do tufted rugs shed?

Some shedding is normal, especially in new wool tufted rugs. This should reduce over time with regular vacuuming. Synthetic tufted rugs tend to shed less. Avoid pulling loose fibres, simply trim them to maintain the rug’s appearance.
